Family Engagement is a component of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model and is crucial for student success. Family engagement should NOT end in elementary school. This session will present ideas and examples of school to home communication that health educators, of all levels, can easily implement by aligning with lessons they already teach. No need to create new units or lesson plans, simply expand on a meaningful lesson you currently utilize!
